Mononoke Slashdown must use both “Touch Screen” and “Controller” to play. There will be different times to use these functions. Always remember that the Controller (or on screen controller) is used during stage select and play, the rest (title, options, or shop) uses the “Touch Screen”.

1. Touch to select the part, and touch the side to change the items.
2. Touch to change the slash combos
3. Total Money earned
4. Drag to view the shop item
5. Touch to select the item
6. Purchase the selected item (option only appears if affordable)
7. Back to previous screen

1. Kagemaru's life gauge decreases when damaged. Kagemaru dies If life gauge is empty.
2. Kunai gauge is consumed for every Kunai thrown. The gauge regenerates over time.
3. Ninjutsu gauge increases by attacking enemies. Spend the gauge to perform Ninjutsu attacks. (must purchase from Shop first)
4. Stage Score. Bonus money is earned depending on the high score after the stage is cleared.
5. Total Money earned.
6. Combo Count and Rank. The higher the rank, the higher the bonus money after the stage is cleared.
7&8. On Screen Controller, touch “8” to adjust the controller’s position and size.
